At Tangram Garden, the selection of starters is simple yet varied. We have chosen to serve only the most noticeable, most delicious and most typical Khmer salads and soups. The Pomelo for example is a fruit that grows along the Mekong abundantly.  Small islands like Koh Trong in Kratie province depend on the Pomelo production,  which is beautifully used in one of Cambodia's most recognizable salads.

 

Springrolls are indespensable on any Asian menu. At Tangram Garden you have the choice of deep fried, the most common style, or the fresh springrolls. Especially the fresh springrolls, which are chef has named Summer Rolls are popular among Cambodians. They are easy to prepare, contain an abundance of vegetables that are readily available and simply taste like heaven.

When you hear pumpkin, you may think of Halloween. As a matter of fact, pumpkin is considered to be a key ingredient in Cambodia and is used for oven hotpots served in small clay pots, and soups. Mixed with a creamy coconut sauce, pumpkin soup has been rated by many travelers as one of the best appetizers available in the country!
