Functions catered to specialized individuals or groups
Tangram Garden is very flexible and caters to many people's needs, no matter it is a sunrise Yoga session for a family or a specialized dinner with band for an incentive group. The space and flexibility at Tangram Garden allows you to design your own program, activity or menu for any budget that you may propose. Here is a list of activities that we allready provide for individual travellers, specialized groups and the local community in Siem Reap.

Live music perrformance
Our stage pavillion is centrally located between 7 pavillions that sit each up to 6 people. The central pavillion is 5m in diameter and large enough to accommodate a group of local musicians or a band with their equipment. The band or live music is perfect for smaller groups (up to 40 people) to enjoy a private function at our restaurant, combined with a specialized menu prepared by our chef.

Private traditional dancing perfomance
Traditional Apsara Ballet is popular in Cambodia and a perfect art form to enjoy while you are in Cambodia. It is one of the most essential forms of art to witness to truly understand the bas relief of Angkor Wat for example. At Tangram Garden we can provide a private performance from a local institution that teaches underprivileged children the art of Cambodia's past, which was nearly lost after the Khmer Rouge reign. The location of the performance is flexible as a stage could be set up anywhere around the garden. The performance would go well with a specialized set menu or buffet if preferred and would be recommended for groups up to 40 people, but could also be performed for much smaller groups or even individuals.

Yoga at Tangram Garden
Picture sunrise in a quiet garden surrounded by local and rural touches. The private pavillions are a perfect space for people wishing to practise Yoga. Yoga mats could be laid out anywhere in the garden, whereever you feel comfortable. After the session, people may enjoy a light breakfast and health drinks before moving to other activities. Tangram Garden works together with a Japanese/American expatriate who moved to Cambodia a while back and who has dedicated a lot of his time to bring the concept of healthy living to Cambodia and its citizens.

Playground for International or local schools
The playground is a perfect space for children who attend the international or local schools to use for excersize. Different activities can be done at the playground, which may not be available on the small premises of schools and kindergartens around town. The playgorund is open from 8AM to 6PM and can be used according to the likes and wishes of the school or gorup of children that wish to make use of the playground.

Private cooking class
What other location would not be more perfect to receive a local cooking class? Pick one of the pavillions or an open air spot to learn more how to cook traditional Khmer dishes. Enjoy a hands on cooking class with the chef and his assistance and learn more about the spices  and ingredients used in the Cambodian kitchen. Our cooking class starts with a walking tour around the village where we are located. Meet local residents and take a look into a local kitchen and see what is really cooking!

Birthday parties or wedding receptions
It would be our pleasure to host you children's birthday party at our garden, serving them delicious and healthy food and offering them a super day wusing our playground materials and special games we can put together for them. Or maybe ytou are looking for an intimate party with your friends and family to celebrate your marriage or wedding day? Tangram Garden can also cater to that need! The romantic setting at night and multifunctional purpose during the day can cater to any party yu are looking for. Just let us know what you are planning and we'll come up with an idea!
