Tangram Garden may be considered unique in town. It is the only restaurant that offers total privacy to all of its guests. The space, the garden, the playground and the lounge are features we designed for the convenience of our guests. Entyer Tangram by walking over our bridge and you may find yourself a world away form the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap and the temples. Follow the paths lit by bamboo torches to your private pavilion and spot our ox carts, dug out palm canoes, traditional rice mill, and large ceramic pots.

Service-wise we try to distinguish ourselves by offering sincere interest in the well-being of our guests. Our calm and peaceful environment encourages people to talk with our staff, who are like our setting; calm and genuine and who love to learn more about the backgrounds of their guests.

Our team is very curious and knows quite a lot about Cambodia and its attractions and they may be able to help you out with any questions you may have about Cambodia. They can walk you around the property while waiting for your dishes and explain more about the rural Cambodian culture that is on display in our garden or explain more about the Cambodian culture in general and give tips for further travels. We may teach you the game of Tangram or explain the traditional architecture of Cambodia by visiting our playground where a scaled model of a traditional house is used as a centrepiece of our playground.

The al fresco concept caters to many people’s needs to be outdoors. Cambodia’s climate encourages outdoor activities and dining instead of being constantly inside air conditioned rooms or transportation. A tuktuk ride may be just as refreshing as a meal at Tangram, having the feeling you are in touch with the real Cambodia.

Cambodian people live outdoors and prepare whenever possible their food outdoors on small ceramic grills. At Tangram Garden we wondered why people visiting Cambodia are not offered the opportunity to experience the local way of eating, which translates to being together in an intimate surrounding with the people you care for in the exact environment that you live in. Tangram made that wish available for you in a casual yet convenient way.

A meal at Tangram does not need to end with an empty plate. Our lounge is pleasant and offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a tasty cocktail or delicious ice cream while engaging in pleasant conversations. Being in the community where people generally go to sleep early and take a long sleep break over lunch allows you to quietly dream away and settle your thoughts without the noise of loud music, traffic, or fellow noisy travelers surrounding you. With soft ambient and R&B music in the background, the lounge allows for a nice and relaxing end of the day.

Share your stories with our team or fellow guests and chose to hang out on our comfortable bedding of our lounge or wander around the garden finding yourself a good place to take in the authentic atmosphere. We would like to leave the choice with you and make you feel at ease in a place that is our home!
