Tangram Garden is open 6 days a week for lunch & dinner only.
Lunch is served from 11:30 to 14:30 & Dinner from 5:30PM to 10PM.
We close on Tuesdays to offer the entire team a day of rest.

If you stay in a hotel in Central Siem Reap and wishes us to arrange a free pick up for you, please allow us to receive the name of your hotel and/or the nearest point of reference for a smooth pick up. We would also appreciate it if you could give us a local phone number or contact number of the hotel in case we are unable to locate you.

Hotels located on airport road, bypass road and on the road to Chhong Kneas will be charged USD 1 for the pick up per tuk tuk only, the remaining fee will be covered by Tangram. This will be added to your bill after your dining experience. A few hotels are charged USD 2 per tuktuk, we will advise at time of reservation if this applies to your hotel.

Kindly note that pick ups are arranged free of charge as long as it is within the city's boundaries. We are happy to arrange a transfer back to you by tuk tuk as well, you will need to negotiate the fare directly with the driver but these fares remain very modest and honest.

Where are we?
When standing on the bridge of the Old Market, continue straight towards the roundabout, which you cross straight. You pass the Royal Crown Hotel on your left. At the junction you make a right. Continue over this street (behind Wat Damnak) until the end where there is a T junction. Make a right again and after 10m an immediate left. You are now on a small street and after 90m on the right side you will find Tangram Garden. It is only a 500m walk from downtown Siem Reap (the Old Market and Pubstreet). See below the map.

Total distance from the old market: 500 meter. The road is slightly dark but safe as the area is part of downtown Siem Reap with plenty of people around.

A Word of Advice
Torn US Dollar bills are not accepted in Cambodia. Bills may be wrinkled but by no means can be torn or written on. Tangram also does not accept torn US Dollar bills for the reason that we cannot spend the money anymore. Counterfeit money is also common in Cambodia. Therefore, check your money carefully before leaving the bank or money exchangers. We appreciate you bringing cash to Tangram as we do not have a Credit Card Machine. Thee machines are only for large-scale businesses and are too expensive to maintain for smaller businesses like ours.

Many receptionists of hotels who make the booking for you by calling us are asking us to pay them commissions. Also tuk tuk drivers and guides who bring you will ask for commissions. The fact is that the hotels, guides and drivers who do this do not have the right to ask this for two basic reasons. 1: The Hotel Management often does not agree as it affects the hotel's reputation and 2: Many of the guides, drivers or hotel staff calling us for reservations do not know who we are and are only calling on your advice.

The hotels, guides and drivers we work with are well taken care off in different ways through party and dinner invitations. Guides and drivers are always offered proper food when they drop guests (through pre-bookings) and we treat all local people with utmost respect. Tangram does not pay commissions to hotels, guides and drivers as we believe in keeping competition fair in town. We are also much more intersted in developing peronal relationships with guides, drivers and hotel staff. Besides, the money that Tangram would spend on commissions is better spend to host once a month an event for the organizations we support, thus giving underpriviliged youth a chance to appreciate the delights of life rather than using that money to buy commitment. Therefore, be aware if people tell you that we are closed or do not exist anymore. We are still very much here, continuing our business practises in a sustainable and respectful way!
